Birgit's creative chaos: Who will win the perfect dinner in Graz?
On August 15, 2025, five amateur chefs from Graz will compete in the exciting competition of “The Perfect Dinner” to create the best three-course menu. Today it's the host Birgit's (44) turn, and the preparations in her kitchen are anything but smooth as she doesn't have a detailed plan for her menu. Birgit describes her kitchen as “creative chaos,” which isn’t exactly helpful when preparing the minimum 40 ingredients for her menu. Here you take full risk!
The menu is a real culinary delight and consists of a starter, a main course and a dessert. The starter includes a fish soup, a shrimp and scallop skewer and a salmon, trout, mango and avocado tartare. The main course is a tasty lamb stew served with a fresh cucumber salad. And to top it all off, there's a dessert consisting of a trio of chestnuts — slices, ice cream and praline — that is sure to enchant guests.
Excess portions and creative humor
Yesterday the guests had a little problem with the starter because the portions were more than generous. Candidate Armina commented on the oversized portions and found them simply too much. In typical Birgit style, she humorously came up with the idea of organizing a round of trampoline jumping to compensate. Sometimes a little fun and games in the kitchen is just what you need to lighten the mood.
Birgit receives active support from her best friend Conny, who helps her with the preparations. Such a helping hand is worth its weight in gold in such a stressful situation!
What the future brings
The evaluation of the dinner and the winners of the competition will be announced on Friday at 7 p.m. on Vox and RTL+. All participants hope that their culinary creations will exceed expectations in terms of taste and that they will be highly favored by the jury.
In the meantime, other creative minds have also developed many simple and tasty dinner ideas. For example, there are dishes like the popular Tater Tot Casserole, which can be prepared in just 45 minutes for four servings, or the exotic Pad Thai, which is ready in 30 minutes. A quick kitchen like this will certainly also benefit amateur chefs in Graz when time is short and the guests are already eagerly waiting at the door.
A final look at the fascinating world of the lottery: Powerball® players have the opportunity to participate in a drawing that takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. in Tallahassee. The game costs $2 per ticket and offers the chance to win big. Does this also give the chefs inspiration for their flavors? Who knows!
It will be exciting in the culinary competition between the Graz chefs and we can look forward to the results.
