Small, fine and full of music: The Staad Harbor Festival 2025 starts!
On **15. August 2025** will take place on the **15th. Staader Hafenfest** will take place, which this year is being announced as “small and fine”. The organizers Rainer Schmiederer and Heinz-Josef Diestel, landlord of the “Staader Fährhaus”, consciously decided to keep the festival in an intimate setting. This measure is intended to prevent it from competing with larger summer festivals on Lake Constance. Instead, the event will be held on the **William-Graf-Platz** directly on the lake, which promises a relaxed atmosphere.
A special feature of the harbor festival is that there are no entry fees, security measures or barriers. “We want to offer visitors a carefree experience,” explains Schmiederer. The stands open from **5 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.** and offer a fine selection of food and drinks. The organizers ask guests to park their bicycles in the signposted areas to keep the emergency routes clear. Traveling by bus is recommended as line 1 stops right next to the festival; the last bus leaves at midnight.
A colorful program for every taste
The harbor festival attracts with a varied musical program. The opening on Thursday will be musically provided by the band **“Groove@Work”**, who will create a good atmosphere with rocky sounds. On Friday, the pianist and singer **Jürgen Waidele**, who has been part of the festival since the late 70s, will perform. On Saturday, **“The Roosters”** will play, performing classics from rock, rhythm’n’blues and soul. The crowning conclusion is the morning pint concert by the **Allmannsdorf Music Association** on Sunday.
The culinary delights are just as diverse as the music on offer. The stands offer, among other things:

- Crêpes von der Crêperie Wussow
Drinks are provided, among other things, by the local **Ruppaner beer** as well as long drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, which are sold by the music club.

The organizers have their hands full to ensure event-free fun. A free, hassle-free journey is important: the event planning offices carry out bookings for secure online services and clarify the classification of support elements that are urgently needed in the region. Although no security measures are required in this context, the organizers are open to innovative solutions to ensure the safety of those present.
