Porsche opens new training center in Bietigheim-Bissingen!

Porsche has set a new milestone: a state-of-the-art qualification center was opened in Bietigheim-Bissingen. This training center, which was built in just 18 months, offers comprehensive training courses for employees in the automotive industry on around 8,350 square meters. With an investment volume of around 50 million euros, the foundation for future-oriented training is being laid here. Stuttgart News reports that it is the first time in the company's history that such a center has been opened in times of crisis, which underlines Porsche's determination and innovative spirit.

Training for the future

The new center will not only be used for training dealers, but also for training high-voltage experts. It is the central contact point for the activities of Porsche Financial Services and Porsche Deutschland GmbH, which have a total of 250 employees based here. 90 Porsche centers, including seven branches, are coordinated from Bietigheim-Bissingen. This makes it clear that this location plays a key role in the German Porsche network.

With 18 specially equipped training rooms, a wide range of technical training is possible, including in the areas of chassis and bodywork. An innovative simulation room is intended to ensure that employees are ideally prepared for dealing with customers. The new center also has its own film studio that can be used to produce online training courses. In this way, Porsche not only ensures the training of its own employees, but also that of its European trading partners. Porsche Newsroom highlights that the Porsche Academy Europe is also at this location, which adds another dimension of expertise.

Modern infrastructure

Another advantage of the new training center is the modernized canteen, which can now offer up to 1,000 meals per day. This not only serves our own staff, but also the surrounding locations, which underlines the networking and collaboration. This ensures that all employees are well looked after at all times and have the opportunity to spend breaks wisely.

For technology enthusiasts, Porsche Leipzig AG also offers numerous training positions in mechanics, mechatronics, electronics and electromobility. The training centers enable practical exercises on vehicles, robots and CNC machines - an absolute magnet for young talents who are interested in a career in the automotive industry. Porsche Leipzig highlights the dual training offerings, in which, in addition to practical training, the Abitur can also be completed at the same time.

Overall, with the new qualification center, Porsche is ensuring that employees are optimally prepared for the challenges of the industry. This means that the company not only remains an innovative player on the market, but also an attractive employer for future generations. The opening of the center is a strong signal in conceivable times of crisis and shows that Porsche is working towards a positive future.
