The all-around day with Jahn competition of the Turngau Schwarzwald was a complete success and took place in the Volksbank sports hall and at the SG Deißlingen sports facilities. Almost 170 participants from various clubs took part in this sporting spectacle, which included both gymnastics and athletics. The leading clubs included TSV Aistaig, TV Baiersbronn, TSV Boll and many more, with the female proportion clearly predominating among the athletes, reports NRWZ.
SV Villingendorf turned out to be particularly successful: a total of 27 of 42 participants qualified for the upcoming state final, which will take place on July 12th and 13th in Meßstetten. Nine out of 18 participants from the TG Rottweil-Altstadt also qualified thanks to their excellent performances, which only increases the anticipation for the final. A total of 71 gymnasts from the Black Forest Gymnastics Region are taking part in this crucial competition.
Results of the annual competition
The results of the competition make the hearts of gymnastics enthusiasts beat faster. In the Jutu AK71 all-around competition, Timo Sachs from SV Villingendorf took first place with 56.80 points, followed by Severin Haag, also from SV Villingendorf, with 51.95 points and Noah Bartel with 42.75 points. In the Juti AK71 all-around competition, Milane Gajen from TSV Hochmössingen took the lead with 53.25 points. Another impressive competition was the Jahnkampf: Sophie Seeger (TGA Rottweil) won the E age group with 43.10 points, while Marlene Burri won the D youth category with 58.20 points.
State finals in the all-around and Jahn competition
The state finals in the all-around competition are eagerly awaited. The competition marks the first state final of its kind and sets new standards. The all-around participants have all qualified in advance and are showing with their commitment what is possible in competitive sports. Among the athletes are Elena and Laura Schwab, who qualified for both state finals and took 29th place in the all-around. Laura Kuhn even managed third place with 54.74 points Nellingen gymnastics club reported.
And while the gymnastics athletes prepare for the exciting competitions, the 2025 European Gymnastics Championships in Leipzig are looming. With 136 female and 165 gymnasts from 37 nations and a new competition format, the mixed team final, the gymnastics festival promises to be an extraordinary event. More than 25,000 tickets have already been sold and anticipation for the event is great, according to information from WTB show.
