Tübingen football stars of the week: Excellent performances in the association league!

There is a lot to report from the football scene in Tübingen and the surrounding area! On November 10, 2025, the best players of the week were recognized and some stories are causing a stir. The selection of the “Eleven of the Week” shows once again how exciting football is in the region and what talent is at work here. Loud SWP Tom Mang from TSG Tübingen particularly shone as a goalkeeper - with a decisive penalty save he secured his team a 2-1 victory in the association league.

But Mang isn't the only hero of the week. Aaron Leyhr from FC Rottenburg caused a sensation when he scored two goals in just four minutes and led his team to a 4-2 win against Schwäbisch Hall. Captain Michael Nüssle from TSV Dettingen/Rottenburg also made a decisive contribution to the success against SV Wurmlingen - he scored the equalizer after a 0-1 deficit.

Strong performances in the national league

The state league is in no way inferior to the association league, as the TSV Lustnau game shows. During their game last weekend in Bad Saulgau against SV Renhardsweiler, Lustnau won more than convincingly 4-0 and remains at the top of the table. Coach Frieder Erne used the same starting lineup for the third time in a row, excluding the goalkeeper position, reports the TSV Lustnau. Goal scorers Tanaya Betz and Leonie Weber were particularly eye-catching while the entire team dominated the game.

Lustnau has not only established itself as a leading team in the league, but is also contributing to an encouraging trend in women's football. Loud Statista Interest in women's football is steadily increasing in Germany. Over 75% of women in the country show great interest in the sport, while the number of active players is around 100,000. The increase in female players in the age group up to 16 years is particularly impressive.

The diversity of player performances

From Nüssle and Leyhr to Hannes Denner from SV Wendelsheim, who gave the opposition a hard time in defence, the week's performances show a colorful mix of talent. Noah Mauser from SGM Kirchentellinsfurt/Kusterdingen scored a hat trick, although his team lost 3:4 against VfL Pfullingen III. Gabor Gierth shone with a triple goal scorer for SGM Dettenhausen/Pfrondorf II and Andreas Lutz secured the victory with a free kick goal in the 90th minute for SGM Kiebingen/Bühl.

Also notable is SV Wannweil's Kaan Görkem Genis, who had every reason to celebrate with five goals in a 7-3 win against Mähringen. And last but not least, Kim Priesnitz from TSV Lustnau drew attention: the former Eintracht Frankfurt player contributed a goal and an assist to the 5-2 win in the game against Granheim.

The talent thriving in regional football has a lot to offer and it's exciting to see how the leagues continue to develop. Let's stay tuned and follow the upcoming games! Who knows what new stories the boys and girls will bring us.
