Young Tigers Tübingen are fighting for the JBBL dream in Crailsheim!
Next Saturday, June 28, 2025, the HAKRO Arena in Crailsheim will be the scene of exciting basketball action when the Young Tigers Tübingen start qualifying for the Youth Basketball Bundesliga (JBBL). They will play the opening game against DBV Charlottenburg/Berlin Tiger, which kicks off at 10 a.m. The second game against the DJK Sportbund Munich follows at 1:30 p.m., which will be crucial for the young talents of coach Manu Pasios. He sees TSV Munich-Ost as a potential favorite for the title, but he doesn't want to be a clear favorite.
The Young Tigers' goals are clearly defined: In order to qualify for the decisive games for the JBBL on Sunday, there must be at least one win from the two games. If they win both games, they have a good chance of qualifying for the next round and fighting for one of the coveted tickets.
Last week: HAKRO Merlins missed JBBL
However, U16 head coach René Grzona was proud of his team: “We gave everything, and even if it wasn’t enough for the JBBL, we can look back on this season and learn from it.” The Merlins will compete in the U16 league in the coming 2024/25 season.
Looking at the JBBL and NBBL
Will the Young Tigers manage to create the optimal starting position for Sunday? The fans in Crailsheim can be excited!
