In November things will be musically galactic in the region around Lake Constance: the “Swabian Classic Stars” concert series starts and brings film music directly from space to the listeners. It starts on November 25th at Lake Constance Airport Friedrichshafen, followed by further performances in Ravensburg, Sigmaringen, Tuttlingen and Ehingen. These unique concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and represent a great opportunity to be carried away by the New Philharmonic in extraordinary locations.
The concerts, which are created in collaboration between Schwäbisch Media and the Neue Philharmonie, offer a varied program that includes pieces from well-known films. Who couldn't hum along to the tunes of John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith? The focus is particularly on iconic themes from “Star Wars” – such as Yoda’s Theme and the Imperial March – as well as from “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” and “Star Trek”. Even the sounds of Princess Leia and Han Solo will be heard, and music from the Stargate universe will also be included. Under the direction of conductor Andreas Schulz, the program will also be moderated by Lutz Schumacher.
