A very special family musical about the biblical character Zacchaeus is to be staged in Schwandorf and Amberg in October. The KISI Kids from Austria, a children and youth group, bring the moving story to the stage. Under the musical direction of Birgit Minichmayr, the performance will delight the audience with a theme that is about ruthlessness, but also about hope and change. The performances will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the St. Josef Girls' Secondary School in Schwandorf and on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Dr. Johanna Decker Schools in Amberg. Both events start at 7 p.m. and last about an hour. While adults can participate for a ticket price of 10 euros, children between 4 and 17 years only pay 7 euros; Admission is even free for the little ones under 4 years of age.
