On July 1, 2025, a celebratory ceremony took place in the fountain courtyard of the historic armory in Augsburg, at which ten companies were awarded the renowned certificate of recognition “Quality – Made in Augsburg”. Mayor Eva Weber and economic advisor Dr. Wolfgang Hübschle honored the innovative companies that stand out for their high product quality and local ties. • Renk Group AG, Göggingen – Branchenführer im Maschinenbau mit über 70 Armeen als Kunden und Ingenieurlösungen für den Sicherheits- sowie den Energiesektor.
• RIEGA Georg Riegel e.K., Lechhausen – Bayerns größtes Miele-Center und ein über 90-jähriges Familienunternehmen, das sich in Standortinitiativen engagiert.
