The game took place at the impressive Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, where around 60,000 passionate Boca fans created a rousing atmosphere.

The Munich team showed an impressive performance despite a strong opponent. Coach Vincent Kompany had prepared his players for the game with the motto “Stay us”. “We wanted to radiate control, calm and dominance,” explained Kompany after the game. Central defender Jonathan Tah stressed the importance of implementing Kompany's philosophy on the pitch. Even though there were a few mistakes in the game, Bayern stayed true to their goals and were ultimately able to secure an important victory that brought them closer to the next step in the tournament.

For Bayern, Michael Olise in particular was an outstanding player who came to the fore with various actions. Harry Kane, who scored a goal and provided an assist, was proud of the team's performance. “The team played well even though the conditions were difficult,” said Kane, who also praised the special atmosphere in the stadium.

Konrad Laimer, who provided important impulses in the game, blessed the decisive goal to make it 2-1 after Bayern had previously remained calm after the equalizer. Manuel Neuer, the team's captain, highlighted the significance of the result: "It's never easy playing against South American teams.
