Bayern Munich: Sensational transfers under pressure – who comes, who goes?
A look behind the scenes at FC Bayern Munich reveals a lot of speculation about possible transfers. With the current developments in player movements, the question arises: Who will strengthen Munich in the coming season? There have been some hot rumors in the last few days that we would like to tell you about.
Just reported yesterday Sky Sports that Bayern sports director Max Eberl has held new talks with the management of Luis Diaz (Liverpool FC). According to reports, the Colombian winger has a clear desire to move, but Liverpool rejects all requests and demands a transfer fee of between 70 and 80 million euros. An official offer from Bayern is still pending, but negotiations for a contract term until at least 2029 or 2030 are taking shape.
Talents in sight
But Diaz isn't the only name on the list. Xavi from RB Leipzig could also soon come into focus. After a move for Desire Doue failed to materialize, Bayern are planning to transfer either Xavi or Florian Wirtz, who has already decided to move to Liverpool. Xavi has a contract until 2027 but can leave Leipzig for 80 million euros. So far there have been no new discussions about a transfer.
Another interesting candidate is Rodrygo from Real Madrid. It is reported that Bayern is interested in Rodrygo Bavarian Football Works, but the Brazilian hasn't been a big issue internally so far. The required transfer fee and salary could represent a hurdle that is too steep for the Munich team: Madrid expects at least 100 million euros as the starting price.
The search for new players
Jamal Musiala's injury has put additional pressure on Bayern, which is why they are urgently looking for new offensive players. Players like Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry may be close to being sold, making the search for a left winger or playmaker even more pressing. In addition to Rodrygo, Fermín Lopez is also being brought into play by Barcelona, whose price could be between 50 and 70 million euros.
Defensively, the situation remains exciting as Bayern are still interested in Renato Veiga from Chelsea, whose contract runs until 2031. However, it is currently unclear whether Bayern can take action as long as they do not sell Minjae Kim.
Thomas Müller, who is in talks with LAFC, is also in the negotiations. Negotiations seem to have increased following the departure of Olivier Giroud, which opens up new perspectives for Müller.
Transfer balance in focus
In order to better classify the current developments, one looks at Bayern's transfer balance in the 25/26 season, which so far shows that Munich has recorded income of 39.70 million euros, but only expenses of 2.30 million euros. With a total balance of +37.40 million euros, Bayern are well positioned financially and could cover the corresponding transfer fees if the negotiations are fruitful.
The coming days and weeks will be crucial to see whether Bayern can make the transfers they want. One thing is certain: there will be spectacular names and fans can hope for possible new additions!
