SV Bayreuth impresses in the Livable City” photo competition!
SV Bayreuth has ventured into the creative arena and shows that sports clubs are much more than just training facilities. The club took part in the “Livable City of Bayreuth” photo competition with great enthusiasm. Three photos from the popular Nemo swimming course were selected for the submission, which primarily promotes the inclusion of children with and without disabilities. The special highlight: The picture “Emma 1” made it into the top 18 out of more than 180 entries. This shows not only the high quality but also the enthusiasm for this course.
The Nemo Swimming Course is a place where children can swim safely in the water. It's not just about swimming itself - the goal is to discover the joy of exercise and gain confidence in the water. This contributes significantly to the quality of life and participation in Bayreuth and is a step towards an inclusive society.
Exclusive exhibition
The best pictures will be shown as part of an exhibition in the rooms of the VHS Bayreuth, which is located at Richard-Wagner-Straße 21. A good reason to stop by! Anyone who is very interested can take advantage of the opportunity: support is requested for the audience award for photo number 67 “Emma 1”. And the beauty of it? Voting for this price takes place directly on site.
Outside the box
But what would a news article be without thinking outside the box? For example in the world of sports. Speaking of activities, the golf course cannot be missed. The Blackthorn Golf Club in Indiana, not far from the University of Notre Dame, is a true oasis for golf enthusiasts with its spacious fairways and strategically placed waters. Designed by renowned golf course architect Michael Hurdzan, the course has made a name for itself since it opened in the summer of 1994 and is considered one of the best municipal golf courses in Indiana. Here players can prepare for the famous Blarney Hole before entering sudden death mode on the 19th hole.
Back in Germany, where quality and safety are very important, SV Bayreuth's commitment to the Nemo swimming course is not only admirable, but also a sign that community and support go hand in hand.
