Iran attacks Israel again: hundreds injured and explosions!

During the night, Iran attacked Israel again with missiles and tensions in the region continue to grow. According to information from NP Coburg, the Israeli air defense was able to repel the attacks without there being any impacts in Israel. The people were able to breathe a sigh of relief because they were allowed to leave the shelters again after a drone from Iran had already been intercepted off Haifa.

These missile attacks are not the first. The day before, at least 23 people were injured in Haifa by Iranian rocket fire, including three seriously injured. The past few days have also been marked by a large number of attacks. Israel and Iran appear to be waging a mutual offensive that is causing numerous casualties. In Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv, residential buildings were hit - there were at least 13 dead, including children, and 35 people are still missing. Rescue teams are on duty to find survivors.

Military escalations on both sides

As Tagesschau reports, the attacks are increasing and the number of victims continues to rise. Rocket alerts were sounded across the country in Israel, with audible explosions in Tel Aviv. The consequences of the Israeli attacks are being felt in Tehran: According to reports, at least 138 people have died as a result of Israeli attacks, including numerous civilians. The collapse of a 14-story residential building in Tehran was particularly tragic, in which at least 60 people lost their lives. Iran's Foreign Ministry has accused Israel of deliberately coordinating the attacks and boycotting the nuclear talks.

A new major attack by Israel on Iranian nuclear facilities marks a further escalation. Israeli President Izchak Herzog emphasizes that the attacks represent an existential threat. According to statements by IAEA chief Rafael Grossi, Iran's nuclear programs are well protected, but this raises doubts about the effectiveness of this offensive. At the same time, there are concerns that Iran may retaliate against US bases in the region.

International reactions and the role of the USA

Was it a coincidence that US President Donald Trump warned of further attacks on US military? Iran has repeatedly emphasized that Israel's actions would be unthinkable without coordination with the United States. In this tense situation, the role of the international community is becoming increasingly important, and discussions to continue nuclear talks between the US and Iran appear to have little chance of success. Many observers suspect that recent military escalations could bring these negotiations to a complete standstill.

Global markets are also sensitive to the developments and oil prices are rising as a result of disruptions to Iranian oil exports. Within Iran, water is leaking in some parts of the city and the situation is becoming more difficult for civilians every day.

The wave of violence and ongoing insecurity raise many questions: How long can this conflict continue? And what is the price of peace in this crisis-stricken region? International actors, especially the EU, are called upon to possibly find a way out through diplomatic channels. But given the stubborn fronts, this will be a real challenge.
