Three robbers attack woman in Lechhausen – police are asking for information!

On August 10, 2025, a disturbing robbery occurred in Augsburg-Lechhausen in which a 58-year-old woman became the victim of three unknown perpetrators. The men attacked the woman on the corner of Derchinger Strasse and Meraner Strasse, demanded cash and pushed her to the ground, resulting in minor injuries. Witnesses report that the perpetrators stole mid-double-digit cash and then fled in a southeasterly direction. The Augsburg criminal police are asking for information by calling 0821/323-3821.

Robbery, as defined in the legal framework, combines the elements of theft with violence or threats, which classifies the act as particularly serious. Further crimes in Augsburg

The crime situation in Augsburg is currently being affected by several incidents. Unknown perpetrators managed to steal a black Iveco van from Schwimmschulstrasse between August 7th and 10th. The exact circumstances and the amount of damage have not yet been conclusively clarified; the Augsburg criminal police are investigating particularly serious theft (information on 0821/323-3821).

Another incident occurred on August 10th at Rathausplatz, where a 43-year-old man had his wallet stolen in the early hours of the morning. The damage amounts to a high three-digit amount, while the perpetrator was described as male and around 40 years old, with a southern European appearance. Accident escapes and property damage

The streets are not safe either: On the night of August 10th, a white VW T-Roc was hit in a parking lot at a fast food restaurant in Lechhausen - the person simply walked away and caused property damage of around 3,000 euros. In another incident on the same day, a black Seat Ibiza was damaged by unknown people on Schubertstrasse, resulting in property damage of around 2,000 euros. The Augsburg 5 police station is investigating here (Tel. 0821/323-2510).

Drug influence on the streets

On August 11, 2025, a 23-year-old driver was also checked on Rumplerstrasse. His low beam was broken, which necessitated an inspection. A rapid drug test came back positive for cannabis and cocaine, which led to the seizure of the car keys and a blood sample. The police found a knife and apparently cocaine in his vehicle, which is why the man is now being investigated for violations of the Road Traffic Act and the Narcotics Act.
