Davin Maus strengthens EV Dingolfing: A hopeful new addition!

EV Dingolfing is in the final phase of putting together the squad for the coming season of the Bavarian Ice Hockey League. On Wednesday evening, those responsible presented Davin Maus as the team's eighth new addition. The 21-year-old center forward is moving from the Oberliga club Passau and would like to fill the shoes of Daniel Rolsing, who moved to Amberg. Maus reached its best evolutionary stage last season and scored 11 points in the third division. In recent years he has gained valuable experience, including almost 100 games in the third division and a stint with a sponsorship license in Amberg, which means he is well prepared for the challenges of the Bayernliga. He already knows some of his new teammates, such as Sascha Maul, Kevin Schinko and Markus Duchenko, from joint youth teams, which should make it easier to get started.

EV Dingolfing's defense is now complete with a total of eight defensive players. Markus Duchenko has fortunately extended his contract, but Marco Sedlar's future remains uncertain. Although the player has a valid contract, he is on the verge of a possible career end due to a serious lower body injury. The EV Dingolfing squad list looks like this:

player
Christoph Schedlbauer
Matthias Prade
Christian Zedelmaier
Alexander Wunderlich (new/ Deggendorfer SC U20)
Simon Franz (new/TSV Erding)
Finn Teubner (new/ERV Schweinfurt)
Kevin Lengle (new/Deggendorfer SC)
Dominic King
Max Ear
Maximilian Huber
Arthur Black
Markus Duchenko
Blake Luscombe (new/Morzine)
Marco Sedlar
Kevin Schinko
Daniel Schamer
Sergei Janzen
Lucas Dittlein (new/Deggendorfer SC U20/DNL2)
Joey Oberrauch (new/Höchstadter EC/Oberliga)
Sascha Maul (EHF Passau/Oberliga)
Davin Maus (Oberliga/Passau EHF)

Test matches and transfers in the league

A lot is happening elsewhere in the Bayernliga too. EHC Königsbrunn will play two final test games next weekend: on Friday against Wanderers Germering and on Saturday against Eisbären ESV Burgau. Here too, the club has completed squad planning and introduced two contingent players, Hayden Trupp and Donatas Žukovas. Joshua Tsui, a promising defender, rounds out the new additions. EHC coach Waldemar Dietrich is positive about the new faces and sees good prospects for the coming season - the goal is a place among the top eight teams in the league.

The Geretsried River Rats have already had a successful preparatory game and have recorded a total of four wins. With Maximilian “Mäx” Hüsken, who returns from TEV Miesbach, they want to further strengthen the offensive. It is noteworthy that the Bayernliga is the highest amateur ice hockey league in Bavaria and has been increased in terms of points with 15 teams. This ensures exciting ice hockey and a high intensity of competition.

EV Dingolfing, Geretsrieder River Rats and EHC Königsbrunn show that there is still a lot of potential in the Bayernliga and that the coming season promises a lot of excitement, both for the teams and for the spectators.
