In her lush garden at Grafinger Schönblick she creates numerous retreats for animals. Wilhelm herself is an enthusiastic observer: at the pond she listens to the frogs' concert and takes care of her water lilies. With her approach of planting new plants where there is space, she prefers wild plants, which gives her garden a natural charm.
A paradise for animals
A look into Wilhelm's garden is like a trip into nature. Hedgehogs, grass snakes, newts, dragonflies and pond frogs live here. “My garden is what I consider beautiful,” she explains, citing caring for half the garden that is very close to her heart. Even if mowing and trimming rarely occur, nature rewards it: a harmonious coexistence of flora and fauna flourishes here.
The loss of her boxwood bushes didn't faze her; Instead, she planted new plants such as blackthorn and black elderberry in the soil - a true source of inspiration for anyone who gardens with passion.
