New syndicate: Moosach and Bruck join forces for football!

The football community in Moosach and Bruck is facing an exciting new beginning. From July 15th, SG Moosach/Bruck will start preparing for the season with two men's teams. The two clubs, TSV Moosach and SV Bruck, are not merging, but have decided to form a syndicate in order to pool their strengths and overcome challenges in amateur football together. This step is no coincidence, as both clubs were struggling with personnel difficulties and were urgently looking for solutions to remain competitive. Mercury reports that the personnel situation at SV Bruck in particular was unclear until mid-May, which led to contact with TSV Moosach.

The cooperation between the clubs is planned for a longer period of time, but it also depends on the motivation and commitment of the players. Player coach Marc Koch from TSV Moosach was immediately enthusiastic about the idea and emphasized that both sides could benefit from the collaboration. The younger players from both clubs also spoke out in favor of the cooperation. The aim is to create intense competition and to carefully introduce young people to the men's area at two performance levels.

The start of the new season

SG Moosach/Bruck will compete in the A and C classes. Marc Koch will train the first team and also take over the U17 youth team. The first team's home games take place on Saturdays at 3 p.m. on the TSV Moosach sports field. The second team plays its games in the C class under coach Jochen Specht; it plays on Sundays at 2 p.m. In addition, the second team's home games take place on the Brucker in the first half of the season and on the Antholinger pitch in the second half of the season. There are numerous training options for all of the SG's 35 or so kickers, with more relaxed AH/reserve training also being offered in Bruck. TSV Moosach, founded in June 1951, is not only dedicated to football, but now offers a wide range of sports, including basketball and triathlon.

This development is no coincidence, as the future of football is increasingly being shaped by new challenges. According to the DFB Academy, a rethink is necessary in order to develop innovative club concepts and stabilize membership numbers. Traditional structures are no longer sufficient to meet modern requirements. The DFB Academy emphasizes that football clubs should urgently expand their offering to include sporting and non-sporting activities in order to appeal to a broader target group and offer fun and health promotion.

Those responsible at SG Moosach/Bruck are well advised to open up to these new trends and at the same time emphasize the strengths of their own club in order to create a distinctive profile. The goal is clear: a successful and sustainable collaboration that focuses on both the sporting and community aspects.
