The summer holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia begin with an exciting highlight for theme park fans: On July 20, 2025, the new roller coaster “Braus & Saus” was ceremoniously inaugurated in Potts Park in Minden. This innovation promises not only thrills, but also fun for the whole family. Loud Regional reporter Visitors can look forward to a rapid ride at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
With a total length of around 220 meters, the roller coaster takes its passengers through a themed “Wild Stone Age”. Managing director Henrik Pott highlights the unique design, in which guests are welcomed into a “crazy Stone Age car wash” before setting off on the exciting journey. The roller coaster offers the special opportunity to go both forwards and backwards, which provides extra adrenaline. Operations manager Patrick Pott emphasizes that the attraction should particularly appeal to teenagers and young adults.
Features and highlights of the roller coaster
The “Braus & Saus” roller coaster was designed by the German company ART Engineering and offers space for up to 16 people. When designing the ride, emphasis was not only placed on fun, but also on safety and comfort: children from 3 years old and a height of 95 cm are allowed to ride together with an adult. With a theoretical hourly capacity of 500 people, the train promises to become a popular stop in the park.
