Students at KU Eichstätt are already very satisfied: 81.5% recommendation!
Bavarian universities are showing their best side: According to a current survey conducted among graduates one year after graduation, there is good news from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU). Again Danube Courier reports, 81.5 percent of the alumni surveyed are willing to recommend their studies at the KU to others. This puts the university well above the Bavarian average, which is 68.9 percent.
Over 80 percent of former students are satisfied with their time at the KU. In comparison, only a third of graduates from other Bavarian universities rate their studies as satisfactory, which sheds even more light on the KU's already positive results. Stefan Mosandl, head of quality management at the KU, notes that the consistently high values since 2015/2016 are nothing other than confirmation of the university's hard work.
Excellent study conditions
The study conditions at the KU appear to be in an excellent light: over 70 percent of those surveyed rate them positively. 74.5 percent of alumni also praise the professional advice and support - a value that only reaches just under 61 percent at other universities. Accessibility to courses was also rated very positively at 85.6 percent. This shows that the KU is at the forefront not only in teaching, but also in supporting students.
The short duration of the job search is particularly exciting: KU graduates find a job after just 1.8 months on average. For comparison: Graduates from other universities spend an average of 2.4 months searching. This is not only important for the alumni themselves, but also speaks for the KU's reputation in the economy.
Comprehensive study quality
The data comes from a broad survey of a total of 6,625 former students who completed their studies at the KU between 2022 and 2023. This information not only flows into our own quality assurance, but also helps other universities in their course planning. The high level of satisfaction is also reflected in the survey results of the Bavarian Graduate Study, which includes over 28,000 graduates from 14 Bavarian universities. This shows that not only is the KU one of the frontrunners, but that there is also a lot of positive development taking place in the Bavarian university landscape.
In summary, it can be said that the KU, with its outstanding results, plays a pioneering role in Bavaria and has repeatedly proven to be an excellent choice for students. Cologne attitude to life paired with academic excellence – studying is twice as much fun. The general study conditions in Germany also seem to be good: according to a survey by CHE The students are largely satisfied with their study situation and rate it predominantly positively.
