Pastor Jamiolkowski: Celebrating 20 years of dedication in Holzland!
A very special anniversary was celebrated in Hohenpolding last Sunday: Pastor Jacek Jamiolkowski has been part of the Holzland parish association for 20 years. A celebratory service in the impressive Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary provided the celebratory setting for this occasion. The church choir, under the direction of Maria Götz, created the right atmosphere with melodic singing. It became clear that the priest, who came from the parish of St. Vinzenz in Erding on September 1, 2005, is one of the most popular people in the community.
At this celebration, Jamiolkowski clearly felt connected to his community. In his speech, he emphasized that he was not thinking about quitting and that he neither felt burned out nor was he looking for another job. “I want to stay here until the end of my life,” the priest said, delighting not only the parishioners but also the dignitaries present.
Collaboration and recognition
In his speech, Mayor Alfons Beilhack emphasized the harmonious cooperation between the political community and the parish association. This collaboration is further promoted by Jamiolkowski's respectful and friendly interaction with parishioners and altar boys. His committed nature is appreciated by everyone.
The joy of the anniversary was celebrated with a special bang: the Holzland gunners fired a salute with 20 individual shots in honor of the pastor. This solemn act illustrates the high status that Jamiolkowski enjoys in the community.
Current service order
The entire community is looking forward to the upcoming church services and events, which will continue to take place in a warm and familiar setting under the leadership of Pastor Jamiolkowski. For him, it is a matter of the heart to accompany the people in Hohenpolding on their journey through life and to be there where help is needed.
