This idyllic moor lake offers everything your heart desires: from impressive views to a giant swing to an inviting beer garden. According to a report by tz.de The author Katja Wegener tried out the giant swing herself and raves about it as a “soul battery charging station”.
The Soier See extends over around 22.5 hectares and is at an altitude of around 810 meters. It was created by the retreat of the glaciers during the last ice age and, with an average depth of two meters, is a true bathing paradise. The lake warms quickly and has a healthy, brown color that comes from the moors.
Experience for the whole family
A 2.5 kilometer circular route around the lake is not only suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, but also offers various attractions for young and old. Anyone who ventures into the cool water will find shallow access points that are particularly suitable for children.
