FCK starts the training camp in South Tyrol with great expectations!

1. FC Kaiserslautern arrived in Vipiteno, South Tyrol on July 13, 2025 to prepare for the upcoming season. After an eight-hour journey that started at 7:30 a.m. in Kaiserslautern, bus driver Flo Dahlmans brought the team safely to the Engels Park team hotel. However, the hotel, which extends over a spacious 6,000 square meter garden area, welcomed the people of Lauter with light summer rain.

The training camp in the picturesque Vipiteno-Ratschings holiday region lasts until July 20, 2025. During this time, the team will work intensively on their form. When we arrived, the omens were good, as temperatures between 21 and 28 degrees and sunny weather were forecast for the coming days - although thunderstorms and rain showers were possible from time to time.

First training sessions and fans

A training session at the AFC Vipiteno football stadium was originally scheduled for 5:45 p.m., but was brought forward to 4:45 p.m. This ultimately didn't happen and the team preferred a weight room session and a run instead. A few dozen FCK fans have already made their way to Vipiteno and the number is sure to increase as the week progresses. From July 14, 2025, all training sessions will be open to the public; the exact times will be announced the evening before.

Test match against CFC Genoa

A highlight of the training camp has also already been determined: On Saturday, July 19, 2025, FCK will play a test match against CFC Genoa. The match will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the Campo Sportivo Carlo Benatti in Moena, which is about 100 kilometers from Vipiteno.
