Attention tattoo fans! The largest trade fair in Bavaria is coming to Ingolstadt!
A very special event will take place in Ingolstadt next weekend: The DreamInk, the largest tattoo fair in Bavaria, opens its doors in the Saturn Arena. On June 28th and 29th, over 100 international tattoo artists will meet here to present their unique art to a wide audience. The atmosphere will be a mix of creativity and entertainment that will not only delight tattoo lovers.
The event has a lot to offer: In addition to live tattoo demonstrations, an exciting program with DJ shows, men's strips and fire shows await visitors. A highlight of the weekend is certainly the Miss & Mister Tattoo Ingolstadt election, while the competition for the best tattoo artists takes place on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Special competitions and workshops
For the particularly brave, there is the horror tattoo contest on Saturday at 9 p.m., which evaluates failed tattoos. Here the winner will receive a cover-up from an experienced tattoo artist. A workshop for beginners is also offered, where professional instructions are given for the first steps in tattoo art.
A unique highlight of the trade fair is the mobile tattoo museum, which shows the fascinating history of tattooing. The famous ice mummy Ötzi and her 61 tattoos are presented here, spanning over 35,000 years of tattoo history. This historical excursion makes it clear that tattoos are no longer just a modern fad, but rather represent a tradition that is thousands of years old and deeply rooted in many cultures. In fact, tattoos have existed for over 5,000 years and have played significant social and artistic roles in various cultures, from the Egyptians to the Polynesians, such as Body art tattoos explained.
Cultural diversity and commercial success
A variety of stands on the dealer mile will offer jewelry, clothing and all kinds of accessories. In addition, a food truck area with various culinary specialties invites visitors to feast. The little guests also get their money's worth: a children's program with a bouncy castle and face painting ensures entertainment and fun during the fair.
DreamInk's opening hours are on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For anyone who needs more information, the website provides DreamInk more details available.
Overall, the trade fair promises a feast for all the senses and is a fantastic opportunity to experience the colorful and expressive world of tattoos up close. Whether you are an interested visitor or an active participant – there is something for everyone here!
