Dreams of promotion shattered: Herrngiersdorf and Kelheimwinzer disappoint!

There's a lot going on in the A classes in Mainburg and Kelheim, and the last few games have really thwarted the pursuers' plans. Last season, TSV Herrngiersdorf achieved a strong second place behind SV Pattendorf, with an impressive 61 points from 22 games. But the promotion hopes that arose after this strong season with 19 wins, two draws and only one defeat were disappointed in the relegation. Sebastian Danzer, the head of the football department in Herrngiersdorf, is not discouraged by this and has assured that they will continue to work towards promotion to the district class, which gives the fans hope.

SG Pfeffenhausen/Hornbach is currently leading the table with 19 points from seven games. But the competition never sleeps. SG Mainburg II/Holledau did not play against SG Pfeffenhausen/Hornbach, which made the situation even more complicated. In the pursuit duel, SV Schwaig was able to defeat TSV Herrngiersdorf and thus improve to second place. With six wins and three defeats, they now have 18 points, the goals scored by Tim Hofinger and Florian Schweiger.

The situation in Kelheim

Things remain exciting in the Kelheim season, even though FC Kelheim is currently in first place with 24 points from eight games and will play against SV Eggmühl on October 5th. However, pursuers SV Kelheimwinzer were unable to score points in a heated neighboring derby and lost 2:3 to SpVgg Kapfelberg. At first everything seemed to be going in the right direction: Jonas Hermann and Reiner Kramer gave the team a 2-0 lead. But a comeback from Kapfelberg, crowned by a goal from Nico Kraus in the last minute, turned things around and left Kelheimwinzer without any points. The team now has 22 points from nine games.

The chasing situation remains close: SG Laimerstadt/Hienheim and TV Schierling II are tied in third to fifth place with 16 points each. It remains to be seen how the teams will perform in the next few weeks.

For all football fans in the region, the coming period will be dominated by exciting games and possibly surprising twists and turns. All eyes are on how the competition for promotion places in both A classes will develop. While some teams are fighting for the championship title, others are fighting to keep up. The next match days promise a lot of excitement and exciting football.
