There is great enthusiasm in the heart of Kronach! On October 24, 2025, the popular “Blueberry Hill Pub” celebrated its reopening after a forced break. The new location on Kulmbacher Straße brings a breath of fresh air, and the operators, Nicole and Andreas Pradella, are overjoyed about the complete success of the first evenings. The opening ceremony was characterized by sociable laughter, music and numerous hugs, and the positive feedback from the guests speaks volumes. “We thank all of our supporters, friends and neighbors for their loyalty,” explained the operating couple on social media, as InFranken reported.
Why were expectations so high? In spring 2025 it became known that the old location at Melchior-Otto-Platz 4 was no longer usable due to difficulties with the rental agreement. Following its closure in August, there were many questions about the future of the pub. The answer now comes with the exciting new start at the new location, which is located right next to the Lucas Cranach Campus (LCC) - an ideal place for students and night owls!
A hit on the mark
The first weekend after the reopening was full of businesses and good cheer. Many guests flocked to the new premises to relax with drinks and a cozy atmosphere. “It was so nice to see many familiar faces again,” says Andreas Pradella happily. “Our goal was to create a place that felt like home,” adds Nicole. This philosophy is also booming in the catering industry; Feinschmecker reports on numerous trends that revolve around a welcoming host culture.
Max's musical accompaniment during the opening was the crowning finale and ensured that the guests could enjoy the night to the fullest. The atmosphere of a pub is not only characterized by drinks, but also by the people and music - and the “Blueberry Hill Pub” has done everything right here.
