Farmer seeks wife International: Marco chooses ladies-in-waiting with a 20-year difference!
In the latest episode of “Bauer sucht Frau International”, cattle farmer Marco (38) from Namibia shows that love can take unusual paths. With an age difference of up to 20 years, he chooses two ladies-in-waiting who are ready to conquer his heart. Among the five invited women from Germany, the oldest of whom is 41 years old and the youngest just 22, the choice falls on, among others, the charming Pia (22) and the nature conservation enthusiast Sabine (41). “GMX reports that Marco actually chose Pia and Sabine, even if he was a little behind on the latter's handwriting.
Marco was already struggling to make the right decision in episode one, but in this episode we see him full of energy. While Christina (37) goes on a treasure hunt with her metal detector, Katharina (23) and Doris (38) are also examined by Marco, which creates a lot of tension. Farm week in Africa is calling!
Dramas and decisions
Meanwhile, things are going turbulent in Bali: Sven (45) and Patrick (57) seem to be fighting for the affection of Carmen (42), while Patrick is already revealing his “infatuation”. Carmen decided on the bungalow distribution, so Patrick slept in a wooden hut - not a place for romantic dreams, because the poor guy was pretty exhausted the next morning!
Things are completely different for Roger (62), who wakes up his ladies-in-waiting in Tenerife with a cowbell, which makes for a very special morning. Here Roger shows his preference especially for Sophia (52) and gives her preference, while he remains undecided about the other women.
A new resident looking for love
Another highlight of the season is Olaf, a retiree who is entering the seventh round of the show and wants to spend his “best years” with a partner. As can be seen from RTL, Olaf is a real lucky guy and has received the most applications this season, which he invites to Germany for selection.
The fifth season of the show, hosted by the charming Inka Bause, features farmers from various countries such as Argentina, Namibia, Australia, Spain and Austria. The diversity of the farms ranges from pony breeding to vegetable gardens to olive groves and promises once again exciting insights into the world of farmers and their search for true love.
As in many reality TV formats, “Bauer sucht Frau International” also shows a colorful mix of drama and emotional highlights. It becomes clear that despite all the differences, the search for a partner remains a universal topic for many people. An analysis carried out by UTH shows that such shows often serve stereotypical gender representations and promote heteronormative relationship patterns. But perhaps the journey of Marco and his ladies-in-waiting shows that love often lurks in the most unexpected corners.
