Surprise for the golden wedding anniversary: Schlüter tractors ensure a festive atmosphere!

A very special anniversary was celebrated in Bierbach on October 7, 2025: Resi and Korbinian Hierl celebrated their golden wedding. The two have been married for 50 years now, and to celebrate the day, friends from the 1st Schlüter Verein Freising put a big surprise on their feet: a trellis made of red -painted 125 classes, which caused radiant faces. In the spirit of the Schlüter Club, the 125th anniversary of which is celebrated with a big meeting in 2024, this was a festival full of memories and proud traditions that are associated with shared experiences.

Resi Hier, who grew up as the oldest child of the Groll family in Hofstarring, has learned the craft of housekeeping from the Pike. After completing the vocational school in Landshut, she worked on various postal switches. Korbinian, a farmer and former friend of her brother, met Resi when he drove to her with his moped. After five years of relationship, they gave themselves the yes word in the tavern in Starring in 1975, framed by 150 guests.

Family happiness and classic car passion

The Hierls are parents of four children: Norbert, Bärbel, Tom and Dominik. The latter brought his mother to the Schlüter club after inviting her to take part in a competition with her Schlüter tractor. This turned out to be an excellent decision as Resi took third place in the 125cc class in her first competition.

Classic car meetings are a true passion for the family. Resi not only enjoys driving her Bulldog, but also participating in the Schlüter community. During the celebration of their golden wedding anniversary, the joy of the surprise from the Schlüter friends was great and brought the unforgettable moments back to life.

A look into the future

The Schlüter community is also looking to the future: the next big event is just around the corner. As wochenblatt-dlv.de reports, the anniversary Schlüter meeting will take place on September 21st and 22nd, 2024 at the Hausler Hof in Hallbergmoos. Around 500 Schlüter tractors are expected, with a varied program that includes, among other things, field operations with older models, music and delicious food.

In addition, there is a new film about the Schlüter and Oldtimer Meeting 2024, which is now available. In the 40-minute documentary there are exciting action shots and secrets of the brake van pullers to discover. Those interested can order the film for 14 euros by email, as schlueter-oldtimerclub.de informs.

Resi is planning a culinary surprise for the next regulars' table: "70 kiache or plumbaves" she wants to contribute, and that will certainly ensure further conversation. The combination of family happiness, classic car passion and festive commitment keeps the community alive over the years, and the Schlüter Verein remains a significant part of its history.
