Klaus Wahn presents impressive nature photography in Langenprozelten!

Nature in focus – that was the motto of the exhibition opening in the Langenprozelten Community Center on June 15th, which was presented by Klaus Wahn from Burgsinn. Over 20 enthusiastic visitors came to admire the impressive nature photos taken by the photographer, who has been seeking his happiness behind the camera for over 40 years. Wahn is a member of the Aschaffenburg Photo Club and specializes in close-up photos of flowers and insects. What particularly caught the eye was an impressive photo of a carpenter bee approaching a poppy, which captivated the visitors.

Another attraction of the exhibition is Wahn's personal favorite piece: a portrait of a majestic bull and calf, taken in his own garden in Burgsinn. The exhibition is open for four weeks, and nature lovers can be inspired by the images every Wednesday between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Catholic library in the Langenprozelten community center. mainpost.de reports that ...

However, Klaus Wahn is not the only photographer who captures the beauty of nature. The opening took place on January 18, 2025 and visitors were able to admire 19,385 entries from 34 countries. The competition, which celebrated its 26th edition this year, is known for its diversity and innovation, including a new category that takes into account artificial intelligence photography.

Particularly notable was the overall winner Simon Schneider from Germany with his photo “Approaching the Dive”. Prizes worth a total of over 28,000 euros were awarded in various categories. Admission to the exhibition only cost 6 euros, while children and young people up to 18 years of age had free access. gotha-aktuell.info informs about...
