On November 23, 2025, the Röllbach gymnastics and sports club invites you to what is now the 30th hobby artist exhibition in the Hermann Schwing gymnasium. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., art lovers young and old can admire and purchase the works of more than 40 exhibitors. My news reports that the exhibition takes place every year on the Sunday before the first Advent and has grown steadily since its inception - from around 20 exhibitors to over 40.
The variety of works of art on offer is impressive. Visitors can look forward to a wide range that includes Advent floristry, ceramics, woodwork, Tiffany glass art, upcycling, bags, lights, cross-stitch fascinations and even hand-knitted socks. The offer is complemented by decorations made from natural materials and regional honey. Children can let off steam creatively with crafts, while adult visitors can find a selection of regional delights - from coffee and cake to mulled wine and bratwurst.
Art and community
The hobby artist exhibition has established itself as an integral part of cultural life in Röllbach in recent years. After a two-year break due to Corona, the event of local artists and creative minds is being welcomed with open arms among citizens, as many participants have been there since the beginning and new faces are constantly being added. Primavera24 highlights that the space includes not only the gymnasium itself, but also various other areas so that visitors can comfortably stroll through the variety of art.
The atmosphere of this exhibition is characterized not only by the splendor of the works of art, but also by a strong sense of community. The whole place comes together to offer regional talent a platform and honor their creative works. Even the youngest visitors are catered for, so there is something for everyone. A warming drink in one hand, a home-made little something in the other and perhaps something nice to take home with them – that is the goal for everyone who visits the exhibition that day.
