Witnesses urgently wanted: traffic accident escape in Michelstadt!

On Friday, July 4, 2025, a 31-year-old from Odenwald made a remarkable visit to Michelstadt. She parked her minibus on District Administrator Ackermann Street from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., but when she returned she experienced an unpleasant surprise: the vehicle was damaged. The person who caused the accident had left the scene undetected without fulfilling his duties. The victim found clear traces of the accident on the left rear of her bus and then contacted the police. Witnesses who noticed something that evening are now asked to provide relevant information to the Erbach police station on the telephone number 06062/953-0 to report, reports my news.

But this incident is not the only one in Michelstadt that is making waves. On June 29, 2025, there was also a traffic accident in which a brown Suzuki was damaged by a white VW bus or panel van. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the forest parking lot at the forest swimming pool. Here too, the person responsible made short work of it and left the scene of the accident. The estimated amount of damage is a whopping 1500 euros. According to the investigation, the VW bus could also have affected another vehicle. A known license plate number for the negligent vehicle is “ERB”. Witnesses or other victims are also called upon to contact the police station in Höchst 06163 / 941-0 to get in touch. More detailed information can be found in the report Press portal to find.
