Fire brigade friendship in Hague celebrates 53 years of shared success!
Today, August 17, 2025, is a very special day for the fire brigade community in Hague in Upper Bavaria. The honorary fire councilor Josef Riedl was awarded the “Medal for International Cooperation in Silver”. This honor was presented to him by Commander Stefan Reger and Chairwoman Doris Noller. A warm occasion that celebrates the long friendship between the Haag i. Mayor and the Haag am Hausruck fire department are the focus. This partnership has existed for an impressive 53 years and is maintained on both a social and professional level. Innsalzach24 reports that both fire departments not only have the same name, but also regularly exchange their operations, experiences and training.
What makes this friendship so special? In addition to the happy exchange of coats of arms to mark the 25th anniversary of the partnership, the fire departments have also celebrated many important events together in recent years. The 40th anniversary was duly celebrated in Burghausen in 2012. Political figures were also present on this day, including District Administrator Georg Huber and the Deputy Governor of Upper Austria, Franz Hiesl, who offered their best wishes to the two fire departments.
Traditions and support
Mutual support is a hallmark of this extraordinary friendship. The exchange of knowledge and training ensures that both fire departments are always up to date. On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the partnership, Josef Riedl presented a statue of the fire department patron Florian, which has symbolic value for the connection between the two places. It is noteworthy that both fire departments have the same number of emergency vehicles - another similarity that connects them.
The history of this relationship is now considered record-breaking and shows how important similar commitments are. Through close collaboration, both organizations have succeeded in expanding their expertise and better preparing for various challenges.
Commitment to the fire department
The fire brigade's commitment not only makes a good name in Haag im Oberland, but can also serve as a role model for other fire brigades. At a time when community and support are needed more than ever, the long-standing friendship between the two Hague fire departments is a ray of hope and a sign of solidarity and cooperation. Four Star Cleaning Service draws parallels to the importance of encounters, which are essential for both the fire service and society as a whole in today's world.
This event is not only an honor for Josef Riedl, but also a sign of the strong community that connects the two fire departments. And perhaps it is this kind of friendship that is also important in other areas, such as office cleaning - a clean and well-organized environment also contributes to cooperation. The better the conditions, the more productive the team can work.
