On Wednesday evening, June 20, 2025, around 6:30 p.m., a tragic accident occurred on state highway 2050 that claimed the life of a 29-year-old from the northern Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district. The young man lost control of his vehicle and crashed with full force into a tree in the Hagenauer Forest. As the Augsburger Allgemeine Reportedly, the rescue workers unfortunately arrived too late. The driver had already died at the scene of the accident.
After the vehicle, a red Mazda, was badly damaged by the impact and the front was torn off on the tree trunk, the Schrobenhausen fire department worked intensively to free the man from the wreckage. An expert was commissioned by the public prosecutor's office to clarify the exact course of the accident, especially since the cause is still unclear. The road remained closed until 11 p.m. for clean-up work.
Another serious misfortune
