50 years of telephone counseling: A celebration of appreciation and community!

On November 8, 2025, a very special ceremony was celebrated in the St. Valentin ballroom: 50 years of telephone counseling. The celebrations were charmingly moderated by Sabine Müller, who led through the program and ensured a cozy atmosphere.

Numerous guests were invited to an impressive setting, including some personalities who have made particular contributions to telephone counseling. Gabriele Dölzer, a long-time full-time employee, shared her experiences and challenges. Father Georg Galke and qualified theologian Josef Feigl also had their say, while pastoral officer Monika Winter and Father Ludger Werner, who heads the telephone counseling service, gave their insights into the important work of the service. Elisabeth Peterhoff, spokeswoman for the Bavarian Telephone Counseling Service, rounded off the discussion.

Festive musical contributions

To enrich the evening, musician Robert Kabuye and his family contributed to the musical accompaniment. The guests were able to sit back and enjoy his performance. After these highlights, there was a joint banquet where the participants were able to exchange ideas with each other and chat about their volunteer work.
