Art summer in Pfaffenhofen: New exhibitions and exciting vernissages!

An exciting cultural week is coming up in the lively town of Pfaffenhofen. On June 21, 2025, art and music lovers can look forward to the “Long Nights of Art and Music,” a highlight of this year’s cultural summer. This event will be enriched by the opening of two new exhibitions.

On Thursday, June 26th, the artists Josef Lang and Sabine Ackstaller will open the gates to their exhibition entitled “Blossoms Body” in the kuk44 gallery at 7 p.m. Admission is free and the opening promises an experience for the senses. An exciting tour of the open-air exhibition awaits guests at 5 p.m., which begins at the “Greetings from Florence” sculpture site in front of the House of Encounter.

Sculptures in dialogue

The exhibition “Blossom Bodies” shows human figures that are depicted in different facets such as looking, dancing or hesitating. The works of Josef Lang and Sabine Ackstaller address human existence and the connection to nature. Not only is movement integrated into the sculptures, but new monumental wooden sculptures up to six meters high are also presented in public spaces for the first time. Josef Lang, known from Munich and Landsberg a. Lech, leads those present through his impressive collection, while Sabine Ackstaller, who lives near Regensburg, gives her insights into the exhibition. Young talents in the spotlight

At the same time, the Schyren-Gymnasium is presenting the works of nine participants in the P-Seminar “Art and Design” in the Kunsthalle Pfaffenhofen under the title “Remembering and Changing”. Her works, which impressively experiment with materials such as clay, recycled plastic bottles and book pages, can be seen from Friday, June 27th until July 13th, 2023. Admission here will also be free. This gives the young artists a platform to bring their creativity and voices to the public.
