Rethink sustainability: Register now for KUS Scouts!
In spring 2026, the popular “KUS Sustainability Scouts” qualification program will enter its third round. Organized by KUS – municipal company structural development in the district of Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm, in cooperation with the Ingolstadt University of Technology and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, the program aims to improve sustainability skills in local companies. At the same time, young people are enabled to take on ecological, economic and social responsibility.
Interested trainees from the district have the opportunity to take part in this exciting program. A total of 20 places are available. During the qualification, participants can deepen their knowledge in workshops, self-learning phases and coaching elements - everything revolves around topics such as sustainability, CSR management and practical implementation in the company.
A practical experience
What does the process look like? Everything will start with an introductory meeting in February 2026, followed by three all-day workshops, which will take place on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The workshops are divided into Basic, Advanced and Expert levels so that participants can gradually delve deeper into the topic. The crowning achievement will be celebrated on July 1, 2026 with the awarding of certificates.
The program is a real benefit for the training companies: the trainees not only acquire practical knowledge, but also develop implementable projects, which benefits their sense of responsibility and strengthens their loyalty to the company. A win-win situation that involves everyone.
