Last Saturday, October 10, 2025, the 22nd Gottfried Wieselhuber Memorial Tournament took place at the Maria Bildhausen Golf Club. The event attracted a total of 30 golfers who not only demonstrated their sporting talent, but also contributed to a good cause. The entire net proceeds from the tournament, including the entry fee of 900 euros, will benefit the facility for the disabled in the Maria Bildhausen monastery, which makes the event not only a sporting highlight, but also a social commitment.
It was particularly pleasing that Nicolai Achilles was able to take home the coveted challenge cup as the winner's trophy. But the tournament offered many more highlights. In addition to the sporting achievements, a donation was also made to the Maria Bildhausen Support Association at the award ceremony. V., which was represented by Elmar Euring, Christoph Euring and Matthias Guck. A moving moment that illustrated the commitment and gratitude for the services of Gottfried Wieselhuber, who founded the golf course at Rindhof in Maria Bildhausen.

The award winners were able to enjoy hand-made bowls with the golf club's logo, which were made by the WfbM Maria Bildhausen monastery factory. These were presented personally by club manager Elke Jüngling and vice president Karl Schätzle. Each prize symbolizes the mischievous connection between sporting competition and social interaction.
