Three arrests in Rosenheim: Police strike against criminals!
Last weekend, nerves were on edge in the Bavarian border area, where the federal police had a good hand at their craft and arrested several wanted people. On June 14 and 15, 2025, the Rosenheim Federal Police Inspectorate caused a stir by carrying out three arrests that were part of a larger cross-border crime scene.
A 31-year-old German man was noticed by officers as a passenger in a car on the Inntal Autobahn. He was convicted of a banned motor vehicle race in 2022 and would have had to pay a fine of around 3,000 euros to avoid a substitute prison sentence. During a visit to the office in Passau on June 14th, his father ultimately paid the amount so that the man did not have to be imprisoned for the time being.
Two more arrests in Rosenheim
The second person arrested was a 48-year-old Slovak citizen. On June 15th he was picked up at the train station in Rosenheim - but without a train ticket and no identification documents. A check showed that he wasn't on the bright side of justice either: he was wanted by the Worms district court for theft and then had to be taken to the Traunstein correctional facility.
A third man, 26 years old, was found on a train between Kufstein and Rosenheim. He was also on the wanted list, this time for violating the Compulsory Insurance Act. Fortunately, he was able to pay a fine of almost 700 euros and was allowed to continue his journey.
The arrests fit into the overall picture that the federal police are painting in the region. In addition to these incidents, two other people were caught at the Mittenwald border crossing, including a Georgian who was unable to pay a fine of 3,000 euros. He was taken to the Stadelheim prison and could soon expect a somewhat longer stay there.
The mission of the Federal Police
How bundespolizei.de explained, these missions have a deeper meaning. The Federal Police brings specialized investigative skills to the fight against crime. Her focus is on cross-border crime, rail security and solving serious and organized crimes. Both evidence preservation and surveillance measures play an important role in taking action against thefts and other crimes.
The Rosenheim Federal Police Inspectorate is responsible not only for Rosenheim, but also for the districts of Miesbach, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Every day we work to ensure the safety of citizens, with regular checks often being the first step against crime.
Overall, it shows that the federal police don't just keep an eye on what's happening in larger crimes. Whether it's theft, traffic offenses or other violations - the control and enforcement of law and order are very important.
June 16, 2025 will therefore be a date on which the importance of security will once again become clear not only for those arrested, but also for the population in the region.
