Summertime has finally arrived, and with it the opening of the outdoor pools, which invite you to cool off and relax. The outdoor pool season has long since begun in Schwabach and the Roth district. The outdoor pool in Schwabach, the Parkbad, is particularly popular. On an area of around 31,000 m² there is a 50-meter swimming pool, a leisure pool with a slide, as well as offers for children and sports enthusiasts. The season opened on May 16, 2025, and pre-sales for tickets started on April 14. The opening times vary: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, water lovers have access from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., on the other days from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. From September the pool will close at 7:00 p.m.
Prices and offers at a glance
The entry prices are moderate and offer something for every budget. Adults pay 5.20 euros (reduced 3.50 euros), children and young people up to 17 years can also look forward to 2.50 euros.
The evening rate after 5 p.m. is 3.10 euros, and if you come regularly you can save a lot with a 10-ticket ticket for 47.50 euros. The kiosk in the bathroom ensures the physical well-being of visitors.
The Roth leisure pool opened on May 4, 2025. Located right near Roth's old town, it offers, among other things, a children's area, a wave slide and a diving tower. Bathers can swim there every day from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with last entry at 7:30 p.m. The prices here are a little cheaper: adults pay 5 euros, while children only have to pay 2.50 euros. Dozen tickets are available for 50 euros, with reduced prices also available for families.
Other outdoor pools in the area
The Hilpoltstein public pool started the season on May 17, 2025 - a week later than planned due to necessary renovation work. It offers a pool for swimmers and non-swimmers and is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. On weekends and in September the times are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Entrance fees here are 4 euros for adults and 3 euros for reduced tickets.
