For the youth leader Thomas Thiel, the focus is on the fun and development of the children. The growing interest in the triathlon among the younger ones is particularly gratifying, which is currently not giving the club any young problems.

Another highlight for the triathlon enthusiasts is imminent: The Junior Challenge Roth, the part of the nationally popular Challenge Roth Triathlon event, takes place from July 4 to 5, 2025. The motto "Top sport meets mass sports" addresses both professional athletes and families. The competitions are diverse: While the big ones swim on the routes of 750 m on July 4th, 20 km cycling and running 5 km, shorter distances for children and families are also planned for July 5th.

The atmosphere around the event will be unique: in the Rothener outdoor pool, where only swimming goggles and bathers are allowed, a total of 200 m are swimming, followed by 10 km of bike and 2.5 km. The bike route leads over a blocked turning point route through the heart of Roth - safe and fast!
