Farewell party in the engine shed: music school celebrates Petra Enghofer!
On July 24th it will be “Open Stage for Tassilos” in the engine shed in Simbach. The Tassilo-Gymnasium Simbach has a very special concert up its sleeve, which not only marks the start of the summer holidays, but also ceremoniously bids farewell to long-time music teacher Petra Enghofer's retirement. This event starts at 7:30 p.m. and promises a colorful musical spectacle.
After all, Enghofer has, with heart and dedication, created numerous concerts, performances and musicals with the students for many years. Her work has inspired many young talents, some of whom have decided to study music. Former students will also perform on this special evening to honor their former teacher and relive the memories they shared.
A diverse program
The mixed choir, the Tassilo kids, the band, a dance group and the orchestra will be on stage, delighting the guests with musical and film excerpts. In the first part of the concert, the artists specialized in presenting the best and most famous pieces.
The second part of the evening follows at 9 p.m., in which the Tassilo bands, including the Dixie Ramblers, Radio8, Maruin5 and the Kellerkinder, create a great atmosphere under the motto “meet and stay together”. Former musicians are expressly invited to take part and make music together.
Familiar melodies and a relaxed evening
Well-known songs from musicals are planned for the culmination, such as “Let the sunshine in” from *Hair*, “We are all in this together” from *High School Musical*, “Thank you for the music” by ABBA and “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay. The evening will not only be a musical highlight, but also a wonderful opportunity to exchange memories and rekindle old friendships.
Before the concert begins, Petra Enghofer invites all participants to a short rehearsal at 6 p.m. in the engine shed. Grades can be picked up in advance so that everyone is well prepared.
Admission to this great concert is free, but donations to benefit the school community are welcome. Enghofer is looking forward to an evening in a relaxed atmosphere with music, dancing and lovely conversations about the experiences we shared at the Tassilo-Gymnasium. It will be a festival of encounters and melodies that no one should miss!
Xcitec and pnp.de have already reported on the preparations, and also the tips.at brought the event into focus. So join us and let’s celebrate a great musical experience together!
