According to a recent report by Mercury The prices for rental apartments are rising continuously, by a whopping 12.2% in the last three years. In the second quarter of 2025, the average rental price for an apartment with 60 to 80 m² and upscale furnishings will be an impressive 15.93 euros per square meter.
A look back: In the first quarter of 2022, prospective tenants still had to pay 13.44 euros per square meter. The development is no less remarkable when it comes to new buildings. The prices for new apartments in the Dachau district are rising to an average of 18.30 euros per square meter. This makes Dachau one of the leading regions nationwide in terms of rental prices and ranks sixth. It is only more expensive in Munich and the neighboring districts.
The price range in the area

For those who don't want to rent but want to buy, the numbers are just as informative. A trend that cannot be overlooked: the Dachau district is one of the ten most expensive regions when it comes to buying real estate.
