Police strike: Autoposer meeting in Eching broken up!

A spontaneous meeting of car posers caused a stir on Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2025, in Eching near Freising. Numerous drivers with highly motorized and partly souped-up vehicles gathered on Garchinger Straße. Participants' activities included impressive photography of their cars as well as daring driving maneuvers such as "burnouts" and "doughnuts" that created circular skid marks and spinning tires.

But the joy didn't last long. The police were informed by concerned residents and then moved out. When they arrived, some drivers desperately tried to get away quickly, but the night ended in a mess for them. The law enforcement officers found seven vehicles still on site and seized the memory card of a videographer who was present, which indicates that the entire action had also been filmed.

Law enforcement officers intervene

All people present were expelled from the seat. Vehicle drivers now also have to expect administrative offense proceedings. As part of these procedures, various fines can be imposed, such as 80 euros for unnecessary noise or even 100 euros for pointless driving back and forth within town. The increased occurrence of such meetings in the region has prompted the police to take specific action against autoposers, as Bussgeldkatalog informs.

The majority of the vehicles at this meeting came from Munich and the southern districts, some also came from the Freising district. The overall chaotic conditions clearly show that car speeders and noise lovers not only violate the road traffic regulations (StVO) through their driving style, but also represent a significant burden on residents.

The trend towards car flair

Car posers are drivers who want to show off their vehicles and often attract attention with excessive noise and unnecessary tuning. Not only do you draw attention to yourself, but you also contribute to noise pollution, which often causes unhappiness in residential areas. In other cities, the police have already set up special commissions against car posers in order to put a stop to the activity. Over 400 criminal complaints were filed in Hamburg, including for drugs and speeding, emphasizes Süddeutsche.

Such meetings, as happened in Eching, clearly show that one must keep a close eye on the region in order to protect both the safety and the peace and quiet of the residents. The police will certainly not remain idle and will continue to take action against such meetings in the future to ensure road safety.
