New leadership at the Tirschenreuth police: Experienced people at the wheel!
There is a breath of fresh air at the Tirschenreuth police station: two new managers were introduced on July 1, 2025. Police Chief Inspector Carsten Schultes takes over the management of the disposition group and at the same time becomes deputy head of the department. He is supported by Police Chief Inspector Muhammet Dal, who acts as the new service group leader. Both gentlemen bring not only experience, but also extensive specialist knowledge of the wide range of challenges in police work to their new roles.
Carsten Schultes, who has been with the Weiden i.d.OPf criminal police inspection since February 2025. is seconded to Tirschenreuth, follows the First Police Chief Inspector Andreas Sennert, who now works in Weiden. Schultes can look back on almost two decades of experience in the area of property, economic and property crimes, which makes him a talented addition to the Tirschenreuth police. On June 30, 2025, he received his official transfer letter from Police Vice President Robert Fuchs, an important step in his career.
New challenges for Muhammet Dal
Muhammet Dal also brings valuable experience with him, as he came from the Waldsassen police station. There he also held the position of service group leader and will now continue this role in Tirschenreuth. The combination of his expertise and Schultes’ extensive background offers the Tirschenreuth Police Department a bright perspective for the challenges of the future.
Dominik Plank, Tirschenreuth's department head, is euphoric about the completion of his management team and is looking forward to future collaboration with his new colleagues. “I am confident that together we will be able to master the challenges that lie ahead of us,” said Plank.
A strong team for security
With Schultes and Dal, the Tirschenreuth police station not only relies on quality, but also on a good team that operates brilliantly in the various areas of police work. The existing team can rely on the strengths of the two new members and is ready to work together on the security of the region. The management has shown a good knack for choosing experienced police officers. The population can be excited about the coming developments.
In summary, the Tirschenreuth police station looks to the future with optimistic expectations. Anyone interested in security issues on site will certainly follow the work of the new managers closely. Whether it's fighting crime or increasing citizens' sense of security, the starting point looks promising with these new leaders.
