The proven team of the carpentry guild Memmingen-Mindelheim remains!
At this year's annual meeting of the Memmingen-Mindelheim carpentry guild, the proven board team was re-elected under the direction of Obermeister Christian Pongratz. His deputy Gunter Zwölfer and the other board members Dieter Häfele, Hermann Hölzle, Stefan Aumüller, Karl Jakob Gleich, Martin Hundhammer and Rudi Engel are still available to help the members. Only Raphael Kuhn was not present at the meeting, such as Merkur reported.
The meeting not only offered the opportunity to choose new, but also an informative exchange about current topics in carpentry. Managing Director Gottfried Voigt from the Memmingen-Mindelheim district craftsmanship explained the most important aspects of the Evidence Act as well as the increasingly pressing questions about minimum wages and vacation entitlements. Then there were exciting lectures by Thomas Donnert and Felix Bermann, who dealt with office and self-organization.
Minimum wage and vacation entitlements in the craft
A central topic of the meeting was the minimum wage, which has been becoming increasingly important since the introduction in 2015. From January 1, 2024, the statutory minimum wage in Germany will be raised to EUR 12.41 per hour and from January 1, 2025 even to 12.82 euros. These adjustments apply to all industries, including the carpentry, such as the Handwerkblatt
The minimum wages are based on the years of work of the workers. For professional workers and fitters, the relevant training years are therefore based. So if you want to work like a professional in the industry, you should have a look at wages, which will also be raised from the coming year. The details of the minimum wages can be read on the ZPK website, where the wage increase for various professions is also listed, including specialist fitters, carpenters and unqualified employees. ZPK has created a clear table here.
Important information for practice
In addition, the information sheet of the Central Association of the German Crafts (ZDH), which is regularly updated, conveyed important practical tips on the implementation of the Minimum Wage Act. Among other things, the flyer also deals with legal questions that are important for companies. These include areas of application for mini -jobbers and interns as well as the documentation obligations that employers must comply with.
The Memmingen-Mindelheim carpentry guild is devoted to these challenges with a clear goal: all members comprehensively inform and promote the exchange with each other. This is the only way to cohesion strongly in the community and the future of the craft.
