The best works of art young talents: Youth paints 2025 in Fulda!

Rabanusstraße 19, 36043 Fulda, Deutschland - In Fulda, the creative spirit of the Hessian youth is kept up! From 1st to August 31, 2025 there will be an exciting hiking exhibition in the Karl concept department store, which presents the winning pictures of the “Jugend Malt” competition. The Hessian Ministry of Science and Research as well as the Fulda Children's Academy launched this competition in order to invite children and adolescents aged 6 to 16 to deal with the topic of "energy". Today, on July 15, 2025, we can look back on the impressive results that were awarded in the award ceremony on July 1 in the Hessian state parliament in Wiesbaden, among other things by the Minister of Art and Culture Timon Gremmels and the President of the Landtag Astrid Wallmann.

The topic of energy is exciting in many ways. Regardless of whether through everyday experience, school challenges or hobbies - the children knew how to interpret the concept -rich. 68 talented young artists made the leap into the exhibition. With many creative submissions from all over Hesse, the participants impressively showed what energy means for them: strength, strength and possibilities. The science year 2025 is entitled "Future Energy", which further underlines the importance of the topic.

The talents at an overview

The works were assessed in three age groups, so that the opportunities were fairly distributed for all participants:

• 6 to 8 years
• 9 to 12 years
• 13 to 16 years

Five individual winners are chosen in every age group who can look forward to cash prizes. There were also two special prices for school classes that submitted projects worth seeing. This shows that the competition not only promotes individual artists, but also strengthens the team spirit in schools.
