Pino the cat is looking for a new home. The charming tomcat came to the Gießen animal shelter seriously injured in September 2025, where he quickly developed into a curious and active companion. After intensive treatment, he is now fully recovered and ready to explore the world outside the shelter. The open and inflamed areas of skin that bothered him have now healed.

The cause of his problems is an allergy to food mites and house dust, which can be easily treated with the right care and medication. These allergies, which are becoming increasingly common, reflect part of the larger trend reflected in the pet allergy market.
