Big appearance in Kassel: New Porsche Center delights 500 guests!
A new Porsche center was ceremonially opened in the heart of Kassel on Friday. The Glinicke Group invested an impressive 14 million euros in building the ultra-modern car dealership. At the opening, around 500 guests were enthusiastic about the new location, which is located on the site of the former Mercedes branch on Dresdener Straße. At the celebration, Kassel's head of the economic department, Matthias Nölke, emphasized the importance of Porsche drivers as important service providers for the region. Many people will remember this opening fondly - a real “goosebump feeling” at the celebration, as HNA reports.
After just 18 months of construction, the center is now active on over 23,000 square meters. A gross floor area of 3,300 square meters not only accommodates high-quality retail space, but also includes 200 parking spaces. In addition to over 200 new and used car sales, the new center team is planning to sell 10,000 workshop hours in the first year. The Glinicke Group would like to make it clear that it is not just a dealer, but also a reliable partner for Porsche owners.
Innovative customer experience and sustainability
This new location is not only a showcase for luxurious vehicles, but also focuses on sustainability with its modern design. The building is equipped with a large-scale photovoltaic system that makes it possible to quickly charge electric vehicles at charging stations with up to 400 kW. The new Porsche Cayenne Electric is particularly in focus in this context. In addition, the Glinicke Group is actively discussing water recovery concepts and using an extensive green roof to contribute to environmental protection, as Autohaus mentions.
The Porsche Center Kassel also operates under the “Destination Porsche” label, which promises to take the customer experience to a new level. Managing Director Nikolas Sturmowski shares the belief that the new location, with its modern architecture and innovative concepts, will be a place where car enthusiasts and customers alike can feel at home.
Glinicke Group on the rise
The Glinicke Group itself can look back on an eventful time. In addition to the new Porsche center, she is already planning further expansions. The company, which was founded in 1930, recently took over 60 percent of the Deisenroth Group and will thus strengthen its market presence between Kassel and Frankfurt. Through these acquisitions, Glinicke would like to position itself even more strongly as a significant player in the automotive sector and thus demonstrates a clear will to grow, as [kfz-betrieb](https://www.kfz-betrieb.vogel.de/glinicke-klarer-wille-zu- Growth-a-c9e177d3eeeea587e08bbf3469d77bd7/) shows.
But that's not all: Cars from the Chinese brand BYD are now sold at the old location on Leipziger Straße, and the Glinicke Group is also planning to open a bike shop called G-Motion. In this way, the Glinicke Group stays in tune with the times and proves that it has a good knack for innovation and change.
