On Saturday, August 16, 2025, Kassel will be the scene of a colorful festival for the whole family. The HNA Children's Day takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Friedrichsplatz and Opernplatz and ensures that children's eyes light up. Just a stone's throw away, a variety of hands-on stands with over 28 varied offers promise an unforgettable day.
What awaits the little visitors? Although it is not necessary to register for multiple activities, fun is guaranteed! The program ranges from climbing and sliding to creative craft activities. The hockey course, the bouncy castle and the adventurous slackline are particularly popular. The children can also try out goal wall shooting or test their skills on a climbing tower. For artistic talents, there is the opportunity to paint clay pots - a creative break that shouldn't be missed!
The stage program and more
In addition to the numerous stands, an entertaining stage program offers highlights for young and old. From 10 a.m. the well-known Bertin Geißler will take the stage, followed by a puppet show “Jolinchen's Sea Trip” by the AOK, which will be performed at both 11 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. Gerd the juggler will provide a few smiles at 2:25 p.m., while the TSV 1891 Oberzwehren brass orchestra will pamper your ears at 2:55 p.m. The finale is the talented Mr. Müller with his guitar at 3:40 p.m. A real program for the whole family!
There will also be various attractions, such as a fire engine and a black light mini golf course, which will amaze many young visitors. Anyone who likes exercise will be thrilled by the roller slide, which promises additional action.
