LEADER funding: 170,000 euros for Grebenau – projects in focus!

A happy event recently took place in the district administration in Lauterbach: District Administrator Dr. Jens Mischak presented Grebenau city representatives with three LEADER funding notices. In total, the projects in the region can look forward to around 170,000 euros in funding provided by the LEADER program. Mayor Lars Wicke and representatives of the various districts working on these initiatives were also present.

Renovation projects in Grebenau

• Sanierung des Dorfbrunnens in Reimenrod:
  Hier wird der bekannte „Herresch-Brunnen“ in der Ortsmitte auf Vordermann gebracht. Die geplanten Kosten belaufen sich auf ca. 40.000 Euro, wobei knapp 24.000 Euro durch den LEADER-Zuschuss gedeckt werden. Die Maßnahmen beinhalten die Neugestaltung des Brunnenbeckens, einen offenen Bachlauf, Blockstufen, eine Sitzbank sowie ein Staudenbeet, die alle dazu beitragen sollen, die Dorfmitte attraktiver zu gestalten.
• Sanierung der Außenhülle des Dorfgemeinschaftshauses in Bieben:
  Für diese Maßnahme sind rund 130.000 Euro veranschlagt, von denen fast 77.000 Euro durch die LEADER-Förderung unterstützt werden. Die Renovierung umfasst die Sanierung der Wände und Fenster, die Unterputzverlegung von Leitungen und die Abdichtung des Kellermauerwerks – ein großer Schritt für das Gemeinschaftshaus, das vielen Menschen dient.
• Neugestaltung des Außengeländes des Dorfgemeinschaftshauses in Wallersdorf:
  Hier liegt der Fokus auf der Integration eines Spielplatzes und der Verbesserung des Freizeitangebots für Jugendliche. Mit einer Förderung von 70.000 Euro und einer Gesamtinvestition von 119.000 Euro wird das Gelände auch barrierefrei gestaltet. Zudem sollen Bäume zur Verkehrsberuhigung gepflanzt werden, und es werden versickerungsfähige Betonsysteme eingesetzt, um Wasserabläufe zu optimieren.
