The city of Braunschweig has come up with something really nice for the summer holidays: The “Lion Gang” is starting a free childcare offer for children aged 5 to 10. The first dates are on July 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th as well as August 2nd and 9th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The locations change to bring the children closer to the city.
The care offering attracts with a variety of games and craft activities. Children can try out wooden games, play travel tic-tac-toe, fold paper ships and show off their creative skills by making window pictures. To ensure that everything runs smoothly, a maximum of 14 children can be looked after at the same time, with each child receiving a maximum of 90 minutes of care. Parents must fill out a registration form as playing together is not permitted in the supervised area.
